By 2030, women should be given the same opportunities as men to participate in decision-making in politics, the economy and public life. Countries must make specific policies and pass laws that give women and girls equal rights in all areas. All violence against women and girls such as human trafficking, sexual exploitation, child marriage and female circumcision must also end.
